Prices
These include all expenses as outlined in the itineraries, brochures, or website. They are subject to change based on amendments made by our suppliers. This will be advised before booking payments are received.
Transportation
Transportation, transfers, excursions, and tours shall be by our safari vehicles which include 4×4 tour vans, land cruisers, tour shuttles, safari minibuses, saloon cars, and executive SUVs. On special request, we can organize a 4×4 land cruiser or Mercedes tourist truck at a slightly higher cost.
Bookings
A deposit of 50% of the cost of the safari is required for any booking reservation. The package must be cleared at least 5 days before traveling.
Payments
All safaris must be fully paid for before the commencement of the safari (at least 5 days before traveling).
Safari Orientations
For group joining departures, clients will share safari vehicles with other clients and are advised to be good-natured and mindful of other travelers to avoid disagreements and unnecessary arguments. It is an excellent opportunity to network and make new friends while on safari. Be prepared to encounter customs and habits that may be different from your own, which is part of the adventure.
Change of Itineraries
The sequence of itineraries is normally adhered to, but the company reserves the right to make alterations due to weather, road works, high season congestion, or any other unforeseen circumstances.
Cancellation
In case a booking is canceled, the following cancellation fees shall apply:
No-show: 100%
1-7 Days: 75%
7-14 Days: 50%
Above 14 days: 25%
Specific hotel and airline cancellation policies will apply.
Liability
The company’s liability to passengers carried in vehicles for transfers, excursions, and tours is governed by the laws of Kenya, and all claims are subject to the courts of Kenya. Whilst every care is taken, the company shall not be held liable for loss or damage to personal property. Clients are advised to arrange for relevant travel insurance.
Sub-contract
The company reserves the right to subcontract any part or full safari, and in the event of such sub-contract, all the above terms will apply.
Visas
Visas are at the discretion of the immigration offices, and Tours En Extase does not have control over them. Visa fees are not refundable even when they are not processed on time. Tours En Extase is not liable for visa delays or any cost implications arising from these delays.
Flights
Clients should check flight timings and names, including their names at the time of booking, and rectify any errors before tickets are issued. Any changes after ticket issuance will incur costs borne by the client. Tours En Extase is not liable for errors arising from this and any subsequent costs.
Travel Insurance
It is a requirement to have travel insurance for any holiday taken. Tours En Extase offers local travel insurance as a value addition, but for international safaris, clients are required to book at an extra cost for their own safety and comfort during travel.
